Description
Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT) specializing in Pediatric and Emergency Department care is needed in Ketchum, Idaho. This role involves working independently in a fast-paced environment that covers neonatal to geriatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to provide direct patient care in various clinical settings, including ER and outpatient clinics.
Job Details:
- Location: Ketchum, Idaho
- Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS)
- Shift: 12-hour shifts, days (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM), minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid license; Certifications include BLS, ACLS, RRT, NRP (through AAOP), PALS; 2 years of experience in a similar Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting; proficiency with EKG, assisting with intubations, drawing and analyzing ABGs, working independently, advocating, troubleshooting, and managing time efficiently, with NICU and delivery experience as well as adult patient care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal intensive care and delivery units, troubleshooting ventilator settings, and working with pediatric to adult patients.
- Additional Information:
- Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
- 2-3 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation depending on candidate experience.
- Call or standby call not generally anticipated.
- Floating within hospital, outpatient, and clinics; RRT response as needed.
- Scrub attire: any color clean scrubs.
- Willing to work if needed during scheduled hours.
