Job Summary:
This in-demand Respiratory Therapist (RT) position is based in Fremont, Nebraska, within an inpatient setting that includes Medical Surgical, Emergency Room, and Intensive Care Unit areas. The role involves managing ventilators, performing ABGs, nebulizations, and patient education, with responsibility for drawing ABGs, managing vents, BiPAP, and heated high flow devices. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. or 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); Certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar size facility and setting; Location in Fremont, Nebraska.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system and usage of Ventilator brands such as Draeger and Respironics is advantageous.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be flexible for holiday work and available to work scheduled shifts in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
