Description
Job Summary:
An EEG Technologist position is available in New York, New York. This role involves preparing patients for electroencephalogram (EEG) exams, applying electrodes, operating and maintaining relevant equipment, and recording trace data. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: New York, NY
- Schedule: Two 12-hour shifts and one 11-hour shift
- Required Qualifications: High school diploma or its educational equivalent, approved by a State Department of Education or recognized accrediting organization; at least one (1) year of experience as an Electroencephalograph Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting; or a satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, including a Certificate of Completion from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) recognized training program.
- Certifications & Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required; High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Schedule: 9.5 hours per shift, minimum of 38 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be certified in BLS (CPR).
