Job Summary:
An MRI Technologist position in Charleston, South Carolina, involves performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures under the supervision of certified radiologists. The role requires delivering high-quality imaging results while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Charleston, South Carolina
• Shift Schedule: 13 weeks, three 12-hour shifts (Friday through Sunday); Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals; registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card; no minimum years of experience required.
• Responsibilities include: Performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, obtaining correct written orders, educating patients, facilitating communication with radiologists, maintaining safety standards according to OSHA, DHEC, FDA, TJC, and ALARA principles, and supporting departmental goals.
• Other duties: Assisting in patient care, serving as a team player, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to safety policies.
• Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and exposure to blood-borne pathogens, radiation, and chemicals. Work may involve stressful situations, irregular hours, and potential weekend or holiday shifts.
