Job Summary:
The location in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking a certified MRI Technologist for a full-time position in the radiology department. The role involves performing routine, stroke, and trauma imaging, patient transport, clerical duties, safety screening, scanning, starting IVs, and EMR navigation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

- Required Qualifications: Valid active Illinois license or confirmation that application has been initiated; ARRT (MR) certification; BLS certification; at least 2 years of MRI experience; MRI certification; experience with GE equipment; proficiency in EMR systems such as Epic, PACS systems like McKesson; availability for 40 hours per week
- Preferred Qualifications: GE experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Additional Information: Must have tattoos covered and no body piercings besides earrings. Scrubs to be worn are of any color, not provided by the facility. Must be able to start IVs. The radiology department has 2 MRI scanners/rooms. No float rotation is required. In-house radiologists are available except after hours.
- Submission Requirements: Last four digits of clinician's SSN, middle initial, requested time off.
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.
- Shift & Scheduling: 10-hour shifts, typical start times at 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:30 AM, with weekend and call rotation.
- Other Responsibilities: Maintain compliance with SOPs, assist with patient prep, safety screening, and documentation using EMR systems.
