Description
Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist position is available in Stanford, California. This role involves performing various radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under general supervision. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The selected candidate will operate imaging and fluoroscopic equipment, prepare patients for examinations, and ensure adherence to departmental quality and safety standards.
Job Details:
- Location: Stanford, California
- Schedule: Rotating shift with 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ARRT-RTR (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Registered Technologist - Radiography) certification, and RTF (Radiologic Technologist in Fluoroscopy) certification. Education, experience, and license requirements are met by these certifications and graduation from an accredited program. Zero years of minimum experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively, establish effective relationships across diverse groups, follow instructions, troubleshoot imaging and RIS (Radiology Information System) and PACS (Picture Archiving Communication System) equipment, and work effectively as part of a team. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, imaging processes, radiation safety, and patient positioning is desired.
- Additional Information: The role includes assisting radiologists during procedures, preparing patients, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and maintaining quality imaging protocols. Candidates will participate in orientation and training sessions as part of their responsibilities.
