Description
Job Summary:
The radiologic technologist will be assigned to a facility located in Stanford, California. The position involves performing a variety of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under general supervision. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role includes operating imaging equipment, preparing patients, ensuring quality images, and adhering to radiation safety guidelines.
Job Details:
- Location: Stanford, California
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, ARRT(R) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Registered Technologist in Radiography), ARRT(F) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Fluoroscopy). Additional qualifications include knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, imaging procedures, radiation safety, and troubleshooting imaging equipment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be able to effectively communicate, establish good relationships with diverse groups and work well as part of a team. They should be able to follow detailed instructions, troubleshoot equipment including RIS and PACS, and perform general and specialized radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures following departmental standards.
