This inpatient occupational therapist position in Reno, Nevada involves providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within a hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The role offers a dynamic working environment requiring flexibility to accommodate department needs.
Job Details:
- Location: Reno, NV | Address: 1495 Mill Street
- Specialty: Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP)
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, primarily Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts, with some rotating days based on departmental needs.
- Required Qualifications: Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Occupational Therapy License (Provisional license acceptable until issuance); minimum two-year clinical experience; certifications in American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to fulfill organizational needs up to their competency level. Staff must work at least one major and one minor holiday annually. Renown has the right to call off shifts without penalty with 48 hours' notice for low census, which may include full or partial shifts.
