Description
Job Summary:
Radiologic Technologist position located in Stanford, California. This role involves performing a variety of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under general supervision, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging that meets department standards. The technologist will operate imaging equipment, assist radiologists, and adhere to radiation safety guidelines.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California License as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), Basic Life Support (BLS), and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and Fluoroscopy.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including troubleshooting RIS, PACS, and x-ray equipment.
- Additional Information:
- Assists radiologists during procedures.
- Ensures proper darkroom techniques and equipment functionality.
- Follows established radiation safety practices (ALARA).
- Prepares and positions patients for exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Processes images and verifies accuracy with department protocols.
- Troubleshoots and reports equipment malfunctions.
- Participates in training and orientation for staff, students, and residents.
