Description
Job Summary:
Portland, Oregon This electrophysiology (EP) technologist position involves providing specialized radiology and electrophysiology services within a short-term acute care facility. The selected candidate will perform fluoroscopy, operate C-ARM imaging equipment, and support electrophysiology procedures. Candidates are required to bring their licensed radiology technician license on the first day. The role offers an opportunity to join a dedicated team supporting diverse patient care needs.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Must be a licensed radiology technician with ARRT certification, OBMI license, and operating fluoroscopy and C-ARM equipment. At least one year of experience as an electrophysiology (EP) technician is highly preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EP procedures, EP charting systems such as Epic, and electrophysiology-specific skills like arrhythmia induction, pacemaker insertion, and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
- Float: Float rotation may be required between units or affiliate hospitals near the contracted facility.
- Special Requirements: Hard stop requirement to have ARRT radiology technician certification and OBMI license. Candidates must have reliable transportation as the assignment requires a vehicle.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be available to work three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). References covering at least one year within the last three years are required. Certification and license verification will be part of the compliance process, and background checks are necessary prior to assignment.
