Description

Job Summary:
Xray Technologist in Presque Isle, Maine. This position involves working within imaging rooms, including fluoroscopy, operating room, ED, ICU, and MedSurg settings. The role requires flexibility with variable shifts, including days and evenings, and participation in weekend rotations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day to fulfill licensing requirements and ensure compliance.

Job Details:

Schedule: 7-week schedules with variable shift times; days or evenings depending on department needs; weekend rotation varies based on need; no call required.
Required Qualifications: BLS certification; ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification; Maine State license; 0 years of experience minimum; will accept candidates with 1-year experience preferred; must be willing to work in a variety of patient care areas including outpatient, inpatient, ED/ICU/MedSurg, and Operating Room.
Preferred Qualifications: OR/C-arm and fluoroscopy experience; experience with general radiology procedures and pain clinic procedures; strong overall clinical skills if fluoroscopy experience is lacking.
Additional Information: Lead Tech support within the department; radiologist on site until 1630-1700 with remote service afterward; orientation period of 1-1.5 weeks based on experience and comfort level; support staff includes internal transport and radiologist.
Technology/Equipment: Siemens imaging rooms, T-Rad with Siemens ART PIX, Cannon Ultimax Hybrid C-arm, Phillips C-Arms, Siemens portable digital units, GE AMX 4 portable, Mini C-arm for orthopedics; PACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA.
