Job Summary:
A Registered X-Ray Technologist position is available in Springfield, Illinois. This role involves providing imaging services in various adult acute care and outpatient settings, including operating room and emergency department environments. Candidates are required to bring their active Illinois state license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Springfield, Illinois

- Shift: Evenings, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (1400-2230)
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 0 years minimum experience for consideration
- Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois state license, ARRT certification, BLS certification, minimum 1 year of experience in radiologic procedures
- Preferred Qualifications: Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, hospital or trauma level I experience, PACS familiarity
- Clinical Skills & Experience:
- Abdomen decubitus, Abdomen supine (KUB), Abdomen upright
- Chest AP, Chest Lateral Decubitus, Chest routine, Upper Airway (soft tissue neck)
- Head X-Ray (Facial bones, Orbits, Paranasal sinuses, Skull, Temporomandibular joints)
- Lower Extremity X-Ray (Ankle, Femur, Foot, Knee, Tibia-Fibula)
- Mobile/Surgical X-Ray (C-Arm procedures, Portable abdomen, Portable chest)
- Spine and Pelvis X-Ray (Cervical Spine, Hip, Lumbar Spine, Pelvis, Sacrum and/or Coccyx, Thoracic Spine)
- Upper Extremity X-Ray (Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Shoulder, Wrist, Trauma shoulder or Humerus)
- Operating Room (OR) procedures and equipment experience (e.g., Siemens* and GE*)
- Schedule & Hours: 8 hours per shift, evenings; at least 40 hours weekly; start date 07/20/2026
- Additional Requirements:
- Provide 2-3 interview times upon submission.
- Submit SSN and Date of Birth at the time of application.
- Ensure all required certifications are current and compliant with facility standards (AHA and Red Cross only, RQI cards not accepted).
- Complete vaccinations including flu vaccine.
- Must have IL license in hand at submission.
- Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
- RTO restrictions ideally no more than 5 days; candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Floating within scope is not required.
