Description

Job Summary:
The Ultrasonographer General is a healthcare professional based in Lander, Wyoming. This position involves providing diagnostic ultrasound services, including abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role supports both inpatient and outpatient care under the supervision of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Job Details:

  • Location: Lander, Wyoming
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification, State License as a general radiographer, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association, 2 years of recent ultrasound technology experience, knowledge of general procedures and vascular training; echo experience is a plus
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, aspirations, and proficiency in scanning small parts such as thyroid, breast, and scrotum
  • Additional Information: Candidates must submit ARRT/RDMS certification and BLS certification attached to their submission packet. The SageWest coversheet must also be included. Candidates will cover both the Lander and Riverton campuses. The position is a replacement of permanent staff.
