Job Summary:
The position of Ultrasonographer (Ultrasound Tech) is based in Mayfield, Kentucky. This role involves performing sonographic examinations utilizing advanced ultrasound equipment, including the GE LOGIQ E10 and 10S. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The facility serves patients of all ages and offers a dynamic work environment that demands professionalism and technical proficiency.

Job Details:

• Location: Mayfield, KY
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, weekly guarantee of 36 hours, working every other weekend, with additional call as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Certification or licensure to work as an Ultrasound Tech in Kentucky; BLS (Basic Life Support), RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer), or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification; minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with breast, abdominal, OBGYN, small parts, vascular, and biopsy procedures; experience with thyroid, breast, lymph node, and prostate biopsies.
• Additional Information: Must work effectively in a high-stress environment and take appropriate action. Responsibilities include performing sonographic procedures, maintaining equipment and supplies, and providing age-appropriate patient care. Orientation sessions are weekly on Mondays. Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered.
• Float Requirements: Float rotation may be required.
• Dress Code: Scrubs in any professional color; casual wear is not permitted.
• Position Creation Reason: Contractor replacement.
