Radiology Technologist position available in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, ranging from basic to complex, as requested by licensed physicians. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position entails rotating through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology within a hospital setting.
Job Details:
- Location: Detroit, MI
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts
- Minimum Weeks Duration: 13 weeks (fixed)
- Required Qualifications: Valid radiology technician certification or license, relevant educational background, and 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing radiographic procedures and supporting diagnostic imaging.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The radiology tech performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, provides technical support for radiographic examinations, assesses patient condition, operates imaging equipment, prepares examination rooms, maintains equipment and medications, produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs, and rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology.
