Description

Job Summary:
The Houston, Texas area is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join a dedicated team in a high-volume Cath Lab unit. The position involves day shifts working four 10-hour days from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with after-hours and weekend on-call rotations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Houston, Texas
  • Schedule: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); Cath Lab experience; Texas licensure preferred; no minimum experience required
  • Job Type: Full-time, operational unit with Cath Lab procedures including cardiac catheterization, structural heart interventions, and electrophysiology (EP)
  • Equipment used includes GE, Phillips, and Siemens systems
  • Additional Information:
    • Emphasis on self-motivated, team-focused candidates
    • Unit operates with a typical census of approximately 120 beds and a staff of 3-4 per room
    • Typical procedures performed include EP, structural heart, and coronary interventions
    • Dress code: Scrubs in royal blue
    • Call rotations are on a rotational basis with existing staff
