Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Technician specializing in neonatal intensive care is sought for a critical care unit located in Savannah, Georgia. This position involves managing ventilated neonatal patients using advanced equipment, including servo ventilators and heliox therapy, within a fast-paced environment. The role requires the ability to independently perform procedures and deliver high-quality patient care in the NICU setting.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). At least 1 year of neonatal intensive care unit or pediatric ICU critical care experience, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with non-invasive ventilation such as BiPAP and CPAP; proficiency in setting up and managing heliox therapy and high frequency ventilation.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be adept at managing ventilated patients with advanced neonatal equipment, including Neonatal Bubble Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), nitric oxide, and high-frequency ventilation.
