Job Summary:
A Respiratory Therapist registered position is available in Johnson City, New York, on night shifts. This role involves providing comprehensive respiratory therapy services, including evaluation and treatment of patients across various settings. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Johnson City, NY
• Shift: Nights and every other weekend; 36 hours per week, for a duration of 13 weeks
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited School for Respiratory Therapy; New York State Respiratory Therapy Permit or License; Registered by the NBRC as a Respiratory Therapist; BLS (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) and ACLS Certification from American Heart Association (AHA); Up to three (3) years of experience in critical care or NICU; experience with V60 BiPAP/980 Puritan Bennett ventilators and EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Additional Information: Travelers must be able to participate in external patient transports.
• Responsibilities include managing ventilators and alarms, administering aerosol and oxygen therapies, performing diagnostic procedures, and adhering to department standards.
• Skills required include attention to detail, collaboration, communication, continuous learning, judgment, planning, problem-solving, reliability, safety, and technical expertise.
