Job Summary:
The location is in Biddeford, Maine. This Respiratory Therapist position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. This role involves providing respiratory care in a hospital setting, including work in the nursery, adult ICU, and emergency room with pediatric patients. The position supports high-risk deliveries, resuscitation efforts, and treatment of critically ill patients.
Job Details:
- Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric Critical Care (RT PEDS)
- Location: Biddeford, Maine
- Schedule: Night shifts (12 hours), minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RRT certification, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications; relevant experience with at least 2 years including nursery, adult ICU, and pediatric ER; working knowledge of Drager V500 ventilators, Hamilton T-1 transport ventilators, neopuff, and EPIC documentation system; willing to float throughout the hospital including nursery, ICU, and ER areas
- Preferred Qualifications: NICU and PICU experience to ensure comfort and competency in treating newborns and critically ill pediatric patients in the ER
- Additional Information: This is a replacement request for the current traveler, with the candidate expected to join after a break following the end of the current contract on 08/15/2026, ideally returning at the end of September.
