Job Summary
Physical Therapist Outpatient position available in California. This outpatient role involves performing evaluations, developing and modifying treatment plans, and guiding patients toward functional recovery. The focus is on delivering high-quality care while promoting patient safety and organizational values.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience; CPR Certification; active and applicable license for the State of California; completion of an assignment with the agency or organization previously is highly desired; completion of an assignment with the organization previously is nice to have.
• Completes comprehensive patient evaluations and develops appropriate treatment goals aimed at progressing patients towards discharge within the established length of stay.
• Performs accurate, clear, and timely documentation of medical records, including goal setting, functional assessments, and necessary correspondence, in compliance with all relevant guidelines and policies.
• Provides care based on signed physician orders and insurance requirements, ensuring clinical appropriateness.
• Participates in student programs by providing supervision, setting learning objectives, and completing evaluations.
• Maintains professional licensure in good standing and completes all required continuing education in accordance with state practice acts.
• Understands and follows the organizations performance improvement methodologies to enhance service quality.
• Promotes safety in all aspects of clinical practice, including patient handling and infectious disease precautions.
