Description
Job Summary:
A Radiology Technologist specializing in Electrophysiology (EP) located in Portland, Oregon. This role involves performing fluoroscopy and C-ARM procedures in a short-term acute care facility. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. Experience as an EP Technician is highly preferred, with a minimum of one year of professional experience.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must be a licensed Radiology Technologist with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and OBMI license. Experience as an Electrophysiology (EP) Technician with at least one year of experience is highly preferred.
- Certifications: ARRT (Radiology), BLS, ACLS.
- Special Skills: Fluoroscopy, C-ARM operation, interpretation of dysrhythmias, electrophysiology procedures, pacemaker insertion, and sterile technique.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be comfortable performing fluoroscopy, operating C-ARM equipment, and working in a fast-paced electrophysiology lab. This role may involve floating between units within the hospital. Candidates should have reliable transportation and be prepared to work three of the five designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day).
- Submission Requirements: Two references covering at least one year within the past three years, and responses to whether the candidate has previously worked at a healthcare facility within the system.
