Description

Job Summary:
Located in Omaha, Nebraska, this Radiologic Technologist position is within the Emergency Department at a Level I trauma center. The role involves performing trauma, imaging, and portable X-ray procedures, as well as fluoroscopy and C-Arm procedures. Candidates must bring their Nebraska license on the first day. The work schedule consists of 10-hour days, with one weekend per month, and call responsibilities are required.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour days (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM); minimum of 40 hours per week; one weekend per month; call required; holidays as scheduled
  • Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years in a clinical setting with trauma experience preferred; ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification; BLS certification; Nebraska license; proficient in trauma, imaging and portable X-Rays; proficient in fluoroscopy and C-Arm procedures; OK with floating between Emergency Department and Diagnostic Department
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, imaging, portable X-Rays, fluoroscopy, and C-Arm procedures
  • Additional Information:
    • Non-billable orientation hours: 12 hours
    • Call-off policy: Client can call off equivalent of 36 hours every 13 weeks
    • Work environment includes approximately 20-25 patients in the Emergency Department per shift without support staff except on floors
    • Responsible for a portion of portable X-Rays on floors
    • Dress code: Red attire and hospital scrubs for surgeries
    • Will begin with departmental on-the-job training including NEO and others
    • Must be a self-starter with strong team skills and adaptability
    • Experience with trauma level I settings strongly preferred
