Job Summary:
Histologist position located in Burlington, Vermont. The role involves working evening shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a daily caseload of 1,200 to 1,500 slides. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This assignment is for 13-16 weeks and offers an opportunity to work in a teaching hospital environment.
Job Details:

- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Histology Technician (HT) or Histology Technician Licensed (HTL); prior travel experience is preferred; teaching hospital experience is required; a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable; proficiency in handling 1,200-1,500 slides daily.

- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This facility requires all work history information (including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit; all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; IVS to offer; no block schedules; public transportation is not accessible, so reliable transportation, personal vehicle, or rental vehicle is strongly recommended.
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 11:00 PM 7:30 AM, 40 hours per week, for 13-16 weeks.
