Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position involves performing complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures within a hospital or health care facility setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour days, four days per week, with on-call responsibilities. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a health science program obtained through an accredited institution, verified education from an accredited Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or Nursing program; two years of invasive cardiovascular technology or electrophysiology experience; current registration as either a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required, with certification to be obtained within six months of hire; radiation badge required; valid state license if applicable.

  • Additional Information: The role includes making hemodynamic recordings, calculations, and interpretations; providing patient education and emotional support; assisting in inventory control; fostering teamwork with physicians and staff; performing point of care testing and quality assurance; maintaining proficiency with imaging equipment; and training new staff.
