Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist (RT) specialization in Dyer, Indiana, is responsible for providing respiratory care to a diverse patient population, ranging from newborns to adults. This role involves supporting the respiratory needs of patients within an acute care setting, adhering to clinical protocols, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Dayshift; 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP; applicable education requirements; minimum of 1 year of experience in neonatal and adult critical care or emergency room settings; current Indiana state licensure or eligible for licensure in Indiana; location in Indiana.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional experience in neonatal intensive care units or emergency care settings.
• Additional Information: The candidate will be expected to complete any required education modules prior to the first day. The position involves working in a 99-bed healthcare unit with varied patient acuity levels, including newborns through adults, utilizing equipment such as PB 980, Servo N, V60, Airvo, and ABL90. Flexibility and team-oriented traits are essential for success in this role.
