Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist specializing in general ultrasound examinations is located in Golden, Colorado. The role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician, with an emphasis on breast ultrasound exams. Candidates are required to bring their licenses on the first day. This position offers a daytime shift Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; completion of college-level finance and/or accounting course; Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Breast Specialty (BR) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS); BLS (AHA) certification; 0 years of minimum experience required, but 2 years of experience preferred in ultrasound.
• Preferred Qualifications: N/A
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This position requires expertise exclusively in breast ultrasound. The candidate should be proficient in performing ultrasound examinations, ensuring image quality, patient identification, and adhering to department protocols. Responsibilities include patient education, infection control, equipment operation, image review, documentation, and collaboration with team members. The role also involves performing vascular procedures, maintaining safety standards, and providing excellent customer service.
