Description

Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer Echo Technician in Burbank, California, performing outpatient echocardiography procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position involves delivering high-quality imaging for adult outpatient patients, with a focus on comprehensive cardiac ultrasound assessments.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), applicable experience in adult outpatient echocardiography, and a valid license.
  • Specialized Skills: Experience with adult acute care, emergency department, intensive care units, 2-D and 3-D echocardiographic imaging, bubble studies, color Doppler, contrast imaging, pharmacologic stress echo, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), treadmill stress echo, Simpsons rule, diastology, LV strain and volume assessments, proximal isovelocity surface area, and familiarity with GE, Hitachi, PACS, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, and Toshiba ultrasound systems.
  • Experience Preferred: 2 years; 1 year will be screened.
  • Additional Information: Commute in this area can be challenging; candidates should be briefed on Southern California traffic and cost of living prior to application.
  • Flexibility: First-time travelers accepted; possibly may need to float between clinic locations within scope.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must answer whether they have worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem, including location and dates worked.
  • Additional Notes: This assignment requires completion of non-billable modules (~16 hours), with over 20 hours requiring prior approval.
  • References: Two references covering at least one year (six months for CNAs) within the last three years are required during the compliance process and prior to start.
