Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Hilo, Hawaii. This position involves performing radiographic procedures with proficiency in operating all radiographic equipment, including digital radiography (DR) fixed equipment, DR fluoroscopy, C-arms, and portable DR equipment. Candidates must have a current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification, along with BLS certification. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The shift is scheduled for days with an average of three days of call per month. Candidates must arrive the Thursday prior to the start date to complete necessary health and clearance appointments.
Job Details:
- Location: Hilo, Hawaii
- Schedule: Days, with an average of 3 days of call per month. Shift hours are 8/10 hours.
- Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist. Proficiency in the operation of all radiographic equipment including DR fixed, DR fluoroscopy, C-arms, and portable DR devices. Experience with Epic EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR preferred.
- Required Qualifications: Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer, ARRT certification, BLS certification, minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience.
- Additional Information: Candidate must arrive on the island the Thursday before the start date to complete employee health appointments. No guarantee of hours or time off requests. Position is classified as normal urgency, and all candidates should confirm availability to arrive on time for scheduled appointments.
