Description
Job Summary:
The Radiation Therapist position is located in Lacey, Washington. This role involves providing radiation therapy services within a cancer treatment setting, performing specialized procedures such as SRS, SBRT, IMRT, and IGRT. Candidates are required to bring their Washington license on the first day. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Job Details:
- Location: Lacey, Washington
- Schedule: 5x8 Days (Monday-Friday) 0730-1600; shifts may vary, work until last patient is seen; no holidays or weekends
- Required Qualifications: Washington License, ARRT Radiation Therapy (ARRT T), BLS; 1 year of experience in radiation therapy including adult outpatient cases; certification in BLS; proficiency with IMRT, SRS, SBRT, IGRT, and electron setups; experience with Varian equipment and Eclipse treatment planning system
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic EMR, community hospital setting, and familiarity with billing for treatment types and devices
- Additional Information: The role involves handling a daily caseload of 50-60 patients, with procedures including tumor localization, respiratory gating, and various advanced treatment techniques
