Job Summary:
The state of New Hampshire is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner for a Travel assignment in the specialty of Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Nashua. This role involves providing advanced respiratory therapy treatments, including mechanical ventilator management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, bronchial hygiene, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, patient assessments, and documentation within the electronic medical record system. Candidates must bring their license on the first day to meet licensure requirements. The position offers an opportunity to work within a team-focused environment while demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic modalities.

- Required Qualifications: Current New Hampshire license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, RCP. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week; position duration begins on 07/20/2026.
- Additional Information: Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. St. Joseph has the right to cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract.
- Responsibilities: Support and promote the mission and values of the organization; perform therapeutic modalities including mechanical ventilator management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, bronchial hygiene, oxygen administration, hyperinflation and aerosol therapy, patient assessments, and documentation in the electronic medical record. Respond to all trauma team, PCI team activations, Code Blue, and Rapid Response Team (RRT) activations. Maintain competency in all modes of ventilatory support and participate in charge duties, including workload distribution and shift organization.
