Job Summary:
The inpatient Occupational Therapist (OT) position is located in Northport, Alabama. This role involves providing comprehensive occupational therapy services across acute inpatient units, including geriatrics, neurological, stroke, and amputation patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Northport, Alabama
• Schedule: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with one weekend required per month and holidays as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT), current Alabama Occupational Therapist License, active license in good standing with the state licensing agency, at least 18 months to 2 years of experience working under the highest level of professional license, with at least 1 year in the specialty field. Certifications include AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross NIH.
• Preferred Qualifications: Licenses for Physical Therapist (PT), Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) are preferred.
• Additional Information: Must float to different units as required. The role involves caring for geriatric, neurological, stroke, and amputation patients.
• Experience: 0 years minimum experience required, but candidates with 18 months to 2 years in the relevant field are preferred.
• Schedule: 8 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Other Details: Willingness to float across units is mandatory. Parking is available. No remote work options.
