Description
Job Summary:
The location is in Morgantown, West Virginia. This Radiology Technologist role involves performing various imaging studies, including X-ray (XR) and fluoroscopy procedures using c-arm and OEC equipment. The position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day and is scheduled for 12-hour weekend days (Friday through Sunday). The role supports a high volume of approximately 400 scans or studies per day. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience and hold current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a WV state license. Candidates are required to work with the department's specific equipment and understand the department's operational procedures.
Job Details:
- Location: Morgantown, WV
- Shift: 12-hour weekend days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday); holidays and call as required
- Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification, BLS certification, WV state license, 2 years of experience, familiarity with c-arm and fluoroscopy procedures, valid driver's license outside 50 miles from the facility, willing to wait for license submission
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Toshiba Rad Rooms, Carestream portable units, OEC c-arms, and familiarity with Epic, Fuji, Synapse EMR and PACS systems
- Additional Information:
- Fluoroscopy experience required
- No need to start IVs
- Department operates 24/7 with resident coverage
- No Registered Radiology Assistants used in the department
- Provide unexpired copy of driver's license with submissions
- Radiation badge must be provided by agency; facility will not supply
- Department specific orientation provided
- Cancellation policy requires two shifts within a 13-week period
- Charting system used is Epic
- Scrubs are provided by the department
- This role is based in an acute care setting within the division's radiology department
