Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position available in Leesburg, Virginia. This role involves performing daily patient treatments and providing patient education related to radiation therapy. Candidates are required to bring their licensed VA license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

• Location: Leesburg, Virginia
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in radiation therapy with experience using Varian True Beam equipment
• Education: VA license required
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications (BLS, ARRT in Radiation Therapy), VA license, experience with Varian True Beam equipment, proficient in EMR systems including Aria, able to perform daily patient treatments and patient education, willingness to complete a 5-day orientation, excellent communication skills
• Additional Information: Position may rarely float to other locations within the system; orientation may be extended based on experience and comfort level. No expectations for weekend, holiday, on-call, or float assignments.
• EMR Systems: Aria, Epic (used in hospital but rarely in department)
• Shift Expectations: 8-hour shifts, daytime hours, with no on-call or holiday duties
• Submission Requirements: Must possess an active VA license at the time of submission
