Description

Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (Registered) position located in Hood River, Oregon. This role involves providing specialized respiratory care to a varied patient population, primarily adults and pediatrics, within a critical access and Level III trauma center. Candidates are required to bring their Oregon license on the first day of employment. The shift is scheduled from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: 1 Year of experience; Oregon license; certifications including ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS; EMR experience with Epic.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult critical care, aerosol setup (mask, trach), arterial punctures, intubation assistance, and pediatric emergency procedures.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required between units based on the facility needs.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have reliable transportation. Willingness to work three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). Submission requires disclosure of prior experience at a Providence facility. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in advanced respiratory procedures, including ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and pediatric respiratory care.
  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, starting at 6:30 PM, ending at 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Experience: 1 Year of experience in respiratory care or related field.
  • Specific charting experience: Epic EMR system.
  • Travel Compliance: Requires completion of modules, with an average of 16 hours spent, which are non-billable.
  • Other Requirements: Must have a vehicle; must include responses related to previous employment at a Providence facility; may be required to float between facilities.
