Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) position is based in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Department (ED) setting. The role involves providing specialized respiratory care to patients across all age groups, including neonates and pediatrics, with a significant contribution to NICU and PICU patient populations. The position requires working nights and participating in a flexible schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Job Details:

• Location: 130 Fisher Road, Berlin, Vermont, 05602
• Shift: Nights, with 12 hours per shift
• Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, with a minimum of every other weekend and schedule adjustments based on unit and patient needs
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications:
  • Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) certification
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA ACLS)
  • AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA PALS)
  • Neonate and pediatric - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)/Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience, playing a significant role in their care
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically EPIC, within the past 2 years
  • All employment history must be fully documented, including bed count, facility type, and EMR use
  • Must have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle, with all-season or snow tires during November April
• Additional Information:
  • All shifts are scheduled from Monday to Sunday without block schedules
  • Bi-weekly orientations scheduled on Mondays
  • Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained to be considered
  • Public transportation is not available in this area; personal or rental vehicles are strongly recommended
  • Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during the months from November through April
