A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in inpatient care is sought for a facility located in Crescent City, California. This role involves providing assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of the assignment. The schedule includes working Thursday through Monday or Sunday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in acute care, adult outpatient, and adult rehabilitation facilities; familiarity with assessment and therapy techniques for cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders; knowledge of assessment tools and treatment protocols such as bedside swallow evaluation, dysphagia, and group therapy documentation.
- Schedule: Thursday-Monday or Sunday-Thursday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Provides services for pediatric outpatient, adult inpatient, and outpatient pediatric patients. Occasional home health visits may be required. The facility emphasizes adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations related to privacy and safety, with specific attention to holidays including New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Orientation hours total 72 hours.
- Certifications and Documentation: Must have uploaded Nursys license verification within the last 2 weeks, applicable certifications, and two references from within the last year.
- Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent relevant experience in related settings.
