Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RT PEDS) located in Meridian, Idaho. The position involves providing respiratory therapy services across various specialties, including intensive care units, pediatric units, ER, and telemetry. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role offers a diverse clinical setting that demands flexibility and clinical proficiency in adult, pediatric, and neonatal respiratory care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift from 0700-1930, evenings from 1100-2330, and nights from 1900-0730
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit, ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PALS (AHA), 2 years of relevant experience, must be comfortable floating between all specialties including ICU, MICU, MS- Telemetry, and ER.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ABGs (radial or brachial) and all respiratory treatments; able to manage respiratory equipment; comfortable going to deliveries and initiating Cpap in a Level II NICU environment.
• Float: Float rotation may be required within the hospital and to sister facilities located approximately 10-14 miles away (Nampa and Boise).
• Additional Information: Candidates must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and provide their permanent address in the application. The facility requires 1-2 shifts of orientation, typically including NICU/General and ICU. Candidates may be asked to participate in holiday rotations and should be flexible to stay available for shift trades and floating. Notification for schedule changes requires a minimum of 60 minutes' notice.
