Description
Job Summary:
The Boise, Idaho, location is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (Respiratory Therapy Specialty) to join the clinical team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing patient respiratory treatments, equipment, and ABGs in an inpatient setting. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Position: Respiratory Therapist (Respiratory Therapy Specialty)
- Shift Hours: 12 hours (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 06/29/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include ACLS, BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Must possess a license to submit and be eligible to work in the state. No minimum years of experience specified.
- Preferred Qualifications: At least 2-3 years experience if a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or 3-5 years if a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend; potential to float to other medical centers as needed.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience. The role involves managing respiratory treatments, equipment, transport, and arterial blood gases (ABGs). RTs will assist with intubation but will not perform EKGs. No on-call or standby duties are required.
- Float: May float to designated medical centers.
- Dress Code: Any clean and professional clothing.
- Orientation: Typically 2-3 shifts, including coverage of adult, pediatric, and NICU floors as needed.
- Radius Restriction: Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. Submission must include a permanent address to confirm eligibility.
