Description

Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) position available in Medford, Oregon. This role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation therapy services with a focus on orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical recovery. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work. This position offers a Tuesday through Saturday schedule, with a shift duration of 8 hours per day, totaling at least 40 hours per week.

  • Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT), Oregon license (licensing pending acceptable), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; experience with acute care, adult rehabilitation, amputee care, CVA rehabilitation, hip and knee replacements, neurological disorders, assessment, discharge planning, patient and family education, and safety/injury prevention. Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with prosthetics, use of specialized equipment such as Lite Gait, Treadmill, BTE, and motorized parallel bars; experience floating between units and sister facilities is preferred.
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Additional Information: This position requires the ability to float between units and sister facilities; refusal to float may result in contract termination. The candidate must have reliable transportation. All specific scheduling requests and time off must be requested upfront during submission. This role includes working during major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
