Description
Job Summary:
The profession is Physical Therapist (PT) specializing in inpatient rehabilitation. This position is located in Wichita, Kansas, at a 30-bed acute inpatient rehab unit. The role involves performing evaluations and treatments primarily for neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, multi-trauma, and post-spine surgery. The therapist will typically manage 4 to 6 patients per day, with an expectation of billing approximately 24 units daily. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating weekends.
Job Details:
- Location: Wichita, Kansas
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Physical Therapy, current state licensure in Kansas, minimum 1 year of experience working in inpatient rehabilitation settings, and experience with neurological diagnoses
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, or post-spine surgery treatments; familiarity with electronic medical records, specifically Cerner or Onechart
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The inpatient rehab unit specializes in neurological rehabilitation. Professional attire is typically black scrubs or business casual. The environment prioritizes patient-centered care for neuro-related diagnoses.
