Description
Job Summary:
Mammographer in Stockton, California this position involves performing tomo mammogram studies and assisting radiologists with stereotactic biopsies. Candidates are required to have their license and bring it on the first day. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience as a mammographer. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the first to float and every other week rotation.
Job Details:
- Certifications: BLS Certification, Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M) verification; CRT in Mammography (California)
- Education and Experience: Certified Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and a minimum of 200 mammograms performed in the past 2 years
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Location: Stockton, California
- Required Qualifications: Certifications (BLS, ARRT Mammography), minimum 2 years of experience, must have performed at least 200 mammograms in past 2 years, valid license to submit, and California CRT in Mammography
- Additional Information: Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments; hospital may pay full hours for shifts in lieu of cancellation.
- Common procedures performed include tomo mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, and operation of Merge PACS and Cerner EMR systems.
- Float: Float rotation may be required, with shifts scheduled on days, every other week, and first to float.
