Description
Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician position is available in Grand Junction, Colorado. This role involves providing technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures within the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position entails assisting physicians, operating imaging equipment, patient education, maintaining unit standards, and supporting quality and safety initiatives.
Job Details:
- Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
- Shift: 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with rotating days off. On-call responsibilities on weekdays and weekends.
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) within 18 months of hire, or Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV-specific certification or RCIS or RCES; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association; Fluoroscopy Certification; Radiation badge from the vendor.
- Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology or Cath Lab setting.
- Additional Information: The role requires skills in Electrophysiology Scrubbing, Electrophysiology Monitoring, and Electrophysiology.
