Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technician specializing in Interventional Radiology in Utica, New York. This position involves performing advanced imaging procedures in a busy healthcare provider setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role requires a minimum of one year of experience with preference given to candidates with two or more years in the field.
Job Details:
- Location: Utica, New York
- Required Qualifications: Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification are required. Education: Graduation from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology. License: New York license required.
- Schedule: Four days a week, Monday through Friday. Call from 17:00 to 07:00, with a weekend call rotation every fourth weekend, potentially more depending on staffing needs.
- Shift Hours: 10 hours per day
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Additional Information: The role involves supporting procedures with ratios of 3 to 4 per case, involving a combination of Radiologic Technicians and Registered Nurses. The patient age group is adults 18 and over. There is potential to operate C-Arm in operating room or endoscopy procedures using Siemens Artis-Q machines, EPIC, PACS, and PURE Software.
