Description

Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technologist position available in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves working within a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment supporting varied radiology procedures for adult and pediatric patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and must possess at least one year of clinical experience in a similar setting.

Job Details:

  • Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts; travel contracts are 13 weeks with work scheduled for days and times as per the contract. Travelers will fill vacant shifts on a schedule that may include first, second, or third shifts, and weekends, with no rotation between weekdays and weekends.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R), valid license, 1 year of clinical experience working with adults and pediatrics across ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatient radiology.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Good communication skills, teamwork attitude, and high clinical skill sets.
  • Technology/Equipment: Department specific equipment includes 1 Siemens single-plane, 2 Siemens bi-plane, and 1 Cannon bi-plane. All staff will undergo a departmental orientation, including a facility tour and introductions, with a flexible 5-day departmental orientation based on traveler needs.
  • Additional Information: There are no floating requirements. Parking is provided free of charge across several decks. The department values good teamwork, clinical expertise, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. Holiday coverage is expected unless prior approval is obtained.
