Description

Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist position available in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves performing prescribed planned courses of radiation therapy in accordance with department protocols and professional standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and should possess a strong foundation in clinical techniques, applications, and equipment related to radiation oncology. The position offers a full-time schedule with a shift time during daytime hours.

Job Details:

  • Location: Tucson, Arizona
  • Schedule: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Associate degree in radiation oncology or a related field, national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable, BLS certification, and possession of a State of Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card. Must be safety conscious and demonstrate effective communication and human relations skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous radiation therapy experience and additional related education or experience.
  • Additional Information: This role involves operating treatment and treatment planning equipment, educating patients and families, performing quality control for equipment, and adhering to safety and confidentiality standards. The position does not permit religious exemptions for COVID vaccination at this facility.
  • Position may involve directing support staff or students at certain facilities as needed.
