Description
Job Summary:
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Whitehall, Wisconsin, at an outpatient pediatrics unit with a mixed inpatient and outpatient population. The role involves providing speech therapy services primarily for outpatient pediatric patients, with some inpatient caseload. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. This position requires candidates to start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer or within 24 hours for a quick start.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour days (8:00 AM 4:30 PM), 72 hours bi-weekly, with guaranteed set hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Wisconsin State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Associate Degree or Certificate, at least 2 years of experience preferred, critical access experience preferred, pediatrics experience required, EPIC charting experience preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC charting experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Caseload: Approximately 90% outpatient pediatrics and 10% inpatient mixed populations, with about 7 appointments per day.
- Billing: Assignments are billed from Monday through Sunday.
- Orientation: 8-hour unbillable orientation. GSA and orientation week are not guaranteed; traveler is guaranteed scheduled hours, except during holidays when the unit is closed.
- Submission Requirements: Candidate must start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of acceptance, or within 24 hours for a quick start.

- Experience: 0 years minimum required; 2+ years of experience and critical access experience preferred, pediatrics experience required.
