Description

Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer specializing in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) is currently available for a position in Mountain View, California. This role involves performing high-risk obstetric ultrasound examinations, including first, second, and third trimester scans, as well as specialized fetal assessments. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Location: Mountain View, California
  • Specialty: Ultrasonographer General
  • Shift: 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 0745-1645, with variable days
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Certification: ARDMS Fellowship in Obstetric and Gynecologic Sonography (ARDMS FE), ARDMS OB/GYN
    • Education: Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
    • Licensure: Valid California State License, uploaded within the last 2 weeks to Nursys
    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience as an obstetric sonographer; 2 years preferred
    • Certifications must be valid and include BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • EMR System Experience: Epic
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 2 or more years of experience in obstetric ultrasound with fetal anatomical survey capabilities
  • Additional Information:
    • Ultrasound procedures include first trimester, second trimester, third trimester scans, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, Nuchal Translucency screen, and assessment for conditions such as placenta previa and high-risk obesity.
    • Travel experience is required, and the candidate must not require separation time after assignment.
    • References: Two references obtained within the last year.
    • Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines.
