Job Summary:
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in inpatient care is sought in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves providing screening, evaluation, and rehabilitation services for patients with speech and language disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency. The role requires developing and executing specialized treatment programs, documenting patient progress, and demonstrating clinical competence appropriate to the patients age. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day.

- Shift Hours: 12 hours per day
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 07/20/2026
- Required Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program; current licensure in the state of practice; Certificate of Clinical Competence or documented acceptance in Clinical Fellowship Year; BLS certification. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers; strong interpersonal communication and human relation skills; proficiency with computer software applications used in patient care.
- Additional Information: The candidate must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card if applicable to their role and maintain it throughout employment.
- Physical Demands and Environment: The position involves typical direct patient care tasks, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and possibly lifting up to 75 pounds. Adequate hearing, visual acuity, and fine motor skills are required, along with proper body mechanics and use of standard precautions.
