Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is available in Asheville, North Carolina. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working in a Cardiac Cath Lab, performing diagnostic and interventional heart cath procedures, including structural heart interventions such as TAVR, LAAO, and Mitraclip. The schedule consists of day shifts, with the possibility of on-call duties during the night shift.
Job Details:
- Location: Asheville, NC
- Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, four days a week, with on-call responsibilities during some nights, including weekends every fifth weekend from 7am Saturday to 7am Monday.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN); Certifications: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Experience: Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab; Education/Degree: RN license; Location: North Carolina; Years of Experience: 0 years.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Structural Heart Procedures (TAVR, LAAO, Mitraclip); Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Additional Information: The unit has 5 beds with 25 staff members, including day shift nurses working 10-hour shifts. Typical procedures performed include diagnostic and interventional heart caths and structural heart procedures. The EMR system used is Cerner. The dress code requires surgical green scrubs. The unit emphasizes a professional and team-oriented environment.
