Job Summary:
Radiation Therapist role based in Petoskey, Michigan. This position involves delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments, performing treatment simulations, fabricating shielding blocks, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Petoskey, Michigan
- Schedule: Days 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (Therapeutic Radiology) certification active license; BLS (AHA); 2+ years of radiation therapist experience; 1 year of travel experience or work experience post-graduation with Varian and ARIA.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TrueBeam, ARIA, and Trilogy systems.
- Responsibilities include performing treatment simulations, fabricating shielding blocks, maintaining accurate EMR documentation, preparing equipment, and adhering to radiation safety procedures.
- Additional Information: Candidates must comply with the organizations strict 3 strike attendance policy beginning on 06/01/2024, with exceptions for documented communicable diseases or hospitalization.
